Hello my name is James Mayo i was born in Pontiac Michigan in 1960. I have been around cars both sales and restoration all of my adult life. It started at age 16 with my 1 st car a 77 Malibu. It was over from their, the bug caught me and the rest is history. At 18 i started wrenching for a living, at 21 i met a doctor with the same dream as me a classic car restoration auto sales dealership. He had the money and i had the knowledge to pull off the restoration end. So off we went and purchased a 15,000 square foot building and opened our doors. Repairing rusty cars that took many hours, and at our $35.00 an hour charge at the time equaled costly repairs. In late 1990 i bought my first western car. It was a 1969 Porsche 912. I went on to do a cosmetic restoration and could not believe how easy it was with 0 rust. from that point i knew that it was not the same to restore a Michigan car to a western rust free one. All went well for a few years then we decided to sell. My partner retired and went to Florida and i went to las Vegas and set out to do those rust free cars. I had grown so found of. Then i got the itch to do vegascarman.com now that i have been doing that for sometime now. I opened vegastruckman.com this year 2007. my goal is to sell clean western cars and trucks at fair prices with honesty ! Thanks very much for looking .
